Conversation between my 7 year-old and my 2 year-old, overheard:
Louisa: Evie! Let's pretend you're the daddy and I'm the teenager!
Evie: Okay!
Louisa (teenager): Daddy, I want to be a rock star when I finish high school.
Evie (father): No.
Louisa (teenager): Well! I'm gonna do it anyway!
Evie (father): No!
Sniff. ..they grow up so fast!
